Dragonfly Energy inked a $30 million Strategic Partnership with Stryten Energy, a leading North American battery manufacturer, to expand its Battle Born Batteries® brand into new markets like military, automotive, marine, power sports, lawn & garden and golf carts through brand licensing, contract manufacturing and battery pack design. Stryten Energy will leverage its vast distribution network to introduce Battle Born Batteries® branded products to new retail markets.
The partnership aims to establish a domestic circular economy for lithium batteries, with Stryten leveraging its existing lead battery recycling model for end-of-life Battle Born Batteries products.
The partnership allows Stryten Energy to manufacture and distribute Battle Born Batteries under license, leveraging the brand’s strong reputation and offering its customers a trusted lithium battery solution. This agreement is expected to significantly increase brand awareness for Battle Born Batteries® and unlock tremendous growth for both companies.
This agreement paves the way for future collaboration where Stryten’s numerous U.S. lithium battery initiatives could incorporate Dragonfly Energy’s cell manufacturing technology, reducing reliance on foreign suppliers and creating a vertically integrated North American lithium battery production chain.
